Warriors’ Stephen Curry has yet to see benefit of limited regular season

In the regular season, when Stephen Curry missed 31 games with various injuries, Warriors fans took solace in a silver lining: All that time off should make him fresher for the playoffs, right? But as he prepares to play Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals Tuesday night against the Pelicans, Curry doesn't necessarily feel the benefit of a limited regular season. It is difficult to stay in rhythm when missing extended time. A week after he returned from a sprained left MCL that sidelined him five-plus weeks, Curry is still not at his best. "When you deal with injuries, it takes a little bit out of you, honestly," Curry said after shoot-around Tuesday.
