HOUSTON — In combatting the complacency that comes with trying to play deep into June for the fourth straight year, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has used numerous ploys to keep things fresh: motivational speeches, calling out his team's effort to the media, even turning over the huddle to his players. No tactic has been more common than his near-constant changes to the starting lineup. As Golden State enters Game 1 of the Western Conference finals Monday night against the Rockets, Kerr has finally found a starting five — Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green — he can trust. That hardly means, of course, that Kerr is done tinkering.
