Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has won the 2017-18 Rudy Tomjanovich Award in honor of his cooperation with media and fans, as well as his on-court success, the Professional Basketball Writers Association announced Monday morning. In his fourth season with Golden State, Kerr has guided his team to a 58-24 record, the Western Conference's No. 2 seed and a 2-1 series lead over the Rockets in the conference finals. Kerr is known league-wide for his open and genial approach with the media. In addition to providing insightful answers, he often hangs after media sessions to chat informally with reporters.
