HOUSTON — The Rockets have ruled out guard Chris Paul for Game 6 of the Western Conference finals Saturday night with a right hamstring strain. Paul sustained the injury after missing a runner in the lane with 51.7 seconds left in Houston's Game 5 win Thursday over the Warriors. After limping noticeably during the next two possessions, he checked out of the game during a timeout with 22.4 seconds remaining. The Rockets opted to rule Paul out for Game 6 after re-evaluating him Friday morning. He will next be evaluated after the team returns to Houston on Sunday, ahead of a potential Game 7 on Monday at Toyota Center.
