HOUSTON — Rockets guard Chris Paul has been ruled out of Game 7 of the Western Conference finals Monday night with a right hamstring strain. Paul sustained the injury after missing a runner in the lane with 51.7 seconds left in Houston's Game 5 win Thursday over the Warriors. After limping noticeably during the next two possessions, he checked out of the game during a timeout with 22.4 seconds remaining. With Paul sidelined for Game 6, the Rockets were routed by 29 points. He tried to test his injured hamstring earlier Monday, but quickly realized he wouldn't be able to play that night. "He couldn't explode," Houston head coach Mike D'Antoni said. "He couldn't push off it.
