HOUSTON — To wipe away many of their flaws this season, the Warriors have relied on a simple halftime routine: Review a couple of mistakes on video, open the floor to players for a brief discussion and head back on the court to make necessary corrections. So Monday night, when Golden State walked to the locker room at halftime down by double digits, it took solace in the fact that it is as equipped as any team in NBA history at overcoming such a deficit in mere minutes. With Stephen Curry leading the way, the Warriors outscored the Rockets 33-15 in the third quarter to escape Toyota Center with a 101-92 win in Game 7 of the Western Conference finals.
