Klay Thompson returns after 1st quarter injury scare

Warriors guard Klay Thompson returned to the court for the start of the second quarter in Thursday's Game 1 of the NBA Finals against Cleveland after leaving early in the first quarter with a left lateral leg contusion. With 6:17 left in the first quarter and Golden State down 18-15, Thompson caught a pass along the perimeter. Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith slipped on the court and inadvertently fell into Thompson. After writhing on the court for a couple moments, Thompson, grimacing, climbed to his feet and limped toward the bench. Seconds later, he headed to the locker room with the team trainer.
