Saturday, Klay Thompson said he was "optimistic" he could play through a high ankle sprain but sounded unsure. Sunday he's improved and coach Steve Kerr said pregame he was "hopeful" Thompson would suit up and play in Game 2 of the NBA Finals. Which is code for saying Thompson is going to play if he can walk.
