After scary fall, Warriors’ Patrick McCaw thankful just to be in uniform

CLEVELAND — Warriors guard Patrick McCaw isn't fretting over the fact that, even with Andre Iguodala sidelined by a left lateral leg contusion/bone bruise, he has only totaled seven minutes through Games 1 and 2 of the NBA Finals. Little more than two months after thinking he might be paralyzed, McCaw is just thankful to be in uniform. "There were so many things going through my head a couple months ago in that hospital bed," said McCaw, who sustained a lumbar spine contusion on a scary fall in Golden State's March 31 win over the Kings and momentarily lost feeling in his legs. "Looking back, I took a lot of things for granted. I'm still young, and I appreciate the opportunity I've been blessed with.
