Editor's note: The Chronicle is reviewing the season of each player after the Warriors' second straight championship run. Stephen Curry's game subsists on bursts of spontaneous glee. Well into his prime at age 30, he still plays with a childlike enthusiasm that has captured the imagination of kids around the world. But for much of this past season, Curry's joy was tested. Various injuries limited him to 51 regular-season games, marking the first time since 2011-12 that he had played fewer than 78. A series of sprained ankles conjured memories of half a decade ago, when Curry's balky ankles threatened his career.
