Well into his prime at age 30, he still plays with a childlike enthusiasm that has captured the imagination of kids around the world. But for much of this past season, Curry's joy was tested. Various injuries limited him to 51 regular-season games, marking the first time since 2011-12 that he had played fewer than 78. A series of sprained ankles conjured memories of half a decade ago, when Curry's balky ankles threatened his career.
