Warriors’ Damian Jones ready to put G League shuttle behind him

SACRAMENTO — Damian Jones spent his first two professional seasons navigating a split existence: the seemingly constant yo-yoing between the NBA's best team and its G League affiliate. Now, with less than three months until training camp, Jones hopes to not have to make Highway 17's winding trek across the Santa Cruz Mountains again to play for the Santa Cruz Warriors. It is a realistic goal. Outside of Jordan Bell, Jones is currently Golden State's only center under contract for next season.
