Late Monday morning, when Warriors staffers handed out the team's interview schedule for media day, one notable name was missing: Patrick McCaw. Nearly three months after Golden State extended him a qualifying offer of $1.7 million, McCaw is still holding out for a better contract. Now, as the Warriors prepare for the start of training camp Tuesday, general manager Bob Myers is optimistic that the team will soon have McCaw in uniform. "We're going to talk to his representatives," Myers said. "Conversations have been cordial. We're continuing to talk and have been talking most of the summer. We're going to keep talking. Hopefully we find a resolution that works for him and us. We want to get him here. That's the plan now.
