After hitting yet another deep three-pointer, he turned around, yanked out his mouth-guard and, while staring at teammate Quinn Cook, pursed his lips and shrugged. Well on his way to his sixth career 50-point game, Curry seemed befuddled by his own brilliance. In powering the Warriors to a 144-122 win Wednesday night over Washington, Curry reminded his skeptics that his 30th birthday might have signaled the next gear of his play. This is a two-time MVP who needed only 32 minutes and 24 shots to score 51 points (three shy of his career high). Of his 16 three-point tries, 11 went in.
