Kevin Durant called on the Golden State Warriors to reproduce the passion and energy they displayed in Friday's win over the Portland Trail Blazers, which ended a four-game losing run. The defending champions had lost five of their last six, a streak started by a defeat to the Los Angeles Clippers in which Durant and team-mate Draymond Green were involved in a well-publicised spat that continued into the locker room. Minus injured star point guard Stephen Curry, the Warriors have endured a run Steve Kerr described as his "toughest stretch" as a coach, beating the Atlanta Hawks after the loss to the Clippers but then falling to the Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder.
