DETROIT — Over the past three weeks, as he sat with a strained left groin, Stephen Curry grew increasingly anxious. But in his 10th NBA season, Curry recognizes that excitement doesn't necessarily translate to results. In the Warriors' 111-102 loss Saturday night to the Pistons at Little Caesars Arena, Curry showed signs of rust, laboring in areas he typically dominates. In 37 minutes, Curry finished with 27 points on 10-for-21 shooting (3-for-9 from three-point range). Unable to settle into a groove beyond the arc, he got aggressive, wearing down Detroit's defense with steady forays to the rim. At times, however, Curry appeared over-eager and made questionable reads.
