In April 2011, the Warriors hired Bob Myers to be the franchise's assistant general manager. In April 2012, Golden State promoted Myers to general manager. In July 2013, Myers pulled off a three-team trade with the Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz that brought Andre Iguodala to the Warriors on a four-year contract worth $48 million.
