Drafted in June of 2009 (at No. 7 overall, one spot ahead of the Knicks, who took Jordan Hill, not that I'm still triggered by that or anything), Curry entered the league and made an immediate impact, averaging 17.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.90 steals in 36.2 minutes in 80 appearances. Injury concerns allowed the Warriors to lock him up via four-year, $44 million contract extension, which turned out to be one of the better bargains in professional sports. Curry entered his prime and rocketed to superstardom in 2014-15 after the Warriors fired Mark Jackson and hired Steve Kerr.
