Despite previous reports that trade talks had stalled, the Golden State Warriors went forward with a deal that sent D'Angelo Russell, Omari Spellman and Jacob Evans to the Minnesota Timberwolves. In return, the Warriors received small forward Andrew Wiggins, a top-three protected 2021 first-round pick and a 2021 second-round pick.
