The Minnesota Timberwolves announced on Friday that Karl-Anthony Towns has a fracture in his left wrist. Towns suffered the injury before the All-Star break and missed Minnesota's game against the Charlotte Hornets on Feb. 12. While his absence won't have much of an impact on an already lost 16-37 season, the missed time will stunt the development of the the new Timberwolves core assembled with a trade-deadline deal that sent Andrew Wiggins to the Golden State Warriors for point guard D'Angelo Russell.
