After Xavier "Type" Vescovi was selected with the first pick of the NBA 2K League Expansion Draft by Hornets Venom GT, WGS was in need of a center to replace the 2019 All-NBA 2K League Defensive Team player. WGS used the No. 20 overall pick to select Malik "Slaughter" Leisinger, an Ohio native with a background in college basketball.
