The Giants and A's aren't the only Bay Area teams competing down in the desert, as the Warriors visit the Phoenix Suns for some Saturday night NBA action. Golden State has lost its last eight games, while Phoenix has lost its last two contests, including a nail-biting two-point defeat at the hands of the Detroit Pistons on Friday night. The Warriors were hopeful guard Steph Curry might return for Sunday's matchup at Chase Center against the Washington Wizards, but coach Steve Kerr told reporters Saturday that the two-time MVP will be getting some extra scrimmages in with the Santa Cruz Warriors this week, delaying his return to the court.
