The NBA conveyed as much to its players in a recent memo sent to all 30 teams, in which the league offered several recommendations as to how to limit the spread of the virus. In the memo, first reported by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Zach Lowe, the NBA recommended that players use fist-bumps in place of high-fives in exchanges with fans and refrain from taking pens, balls, jerseys, etc. to autograph. Some players, like Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum, are heeding the message and taking it very seriously.
