San Francisco mayor London Breed issued a ban on crowds of more than 1,000 people Wednesday morning, prompting the Warriors to announce that Thursday's game against the Brooklyn Nets will be played without fans at Chase Center. Instead, only players, coaches, referees, credentialed media, a public-address announcer and statistician will be on hand for the matchup, prompting a unique experience for team personnel. Prior to Breed's announcement, Warriors president Rick Welts said he met with the mayor Wednesday morning in a "cordial" meeting.
