Warriors prosper playing "high-IQ basketball" Nearly three hours before tipoff, standing near midcourt at Oracle Arena, former NBA guard Chauncey Billups marveled at the way the Warriors reached the brink of a historic achievement. Billups, a five-time All-Star in his playing days, now works as an ESPN analyst. Yes, the team that thrives "playing small" actually has a huge size advantage. Billups, who stands 6-foot-3, was referring to 6-7 Klay Thompson - who presents perpetual matchup problems for normal-sized shooting guards. If I'm guarding him, even when I contest that shot, he doesn't see me.
