Kerr has unique perspective on Durant’s Oklahoma City return
MEMPHIS — The Warriors face a unique task Friday night: "It's easy for us," head coach Steve Kerr said 90 minutes before tipoff of Golden State's matchup with the Grizzlies at FedEx Forum. In almost every media scrum, players fielded questions about how their superstar teammate will be received at the arena he called home for eight years. Memphis is the only team to have beaten it twice in the same regular season since the Spurs in 2014-15. Currently in line for the Western Conference's No. 6 seed, the Grizzlies could pose problems in the playoffs. On Dec. 2, 2010, Kerr was a TNT analyst who called LeBron James' first return to Cleveland after the Akron, Ohio, native announced his intention to sign with Miami on an ESPN special.
