SALT LAKE CITY - Brandon Rush will start in place of Harrison Barnes for the second consecutive game, when the Warriors play the Utah Jazz on Monday night, according to interim head coach Luke Walton. Barnes has a sprained left ankle, which won't be reevaluated until Sunday — meaning the small forward will miss at least the Warriors' next two games (at Charlotte on Wednesday and at Toronto on Saturday). Barnes is traveling with the team and watched Monday morning's shootaround, with his crutches resting on the seat beside him. In his first fill-in start for Barnes, Rush needed only 19 ½ minutes to score 16 points on 4-of-5 three-point shooting in Saturday's victory over Sacramento. To be professional enough to stay ready and to work every day and to take advantage of opportunities when they come is something that deserves praise. Walton said the Warriors will experiment with a variety of lineups during the team's two-week, seven-game road trip.
