Warriors’ Kerr expects Bogut to play Monday
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said he thinks center Andrew Bogut will play in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals against Oklahoma City on Monday, but the final decision won't be made until closer to the 6 p.m. opening tip. Bogut, who is averaging 5.1 points, seven rebounds and 1.8 blocked shots in the playoffs, strained his right adductor in the first half Wednesday and was unable to return to Game 5 of the conference semifinals. The Warriors have confidence in reserve centers Festus Ezeli, Marreese Speights and Anderson Varejao, and they often close halves with forward Draymond Green manning the middle.
