Kyrie Irving not bothered by foot injury suffered in Game 6
Kyrie Irving said Saturday afternoon that he feels no lingering pain from the left foot injury he suffered in Thursday's Game 6 of the NBA Finals. The injury occurred midway through the third quarter when, while running a pick-and-roll with Tristan Thompson, Irving had the inside of his left foot stepped on by Warriors center Festus Ezeli. In games 3, 4 and 5, Irving scored a combined 105 points on 55.8 percent shooting (43-for-77) with 18 assists, 11 rebounds and six steals. In the first round of the 2015 playoffs against Boston, he suffered a right foot injury that contributed to the left knee injury that sidelined him for the final five games of last year's Finals. In five Finals appearances, Love is averaging 8.4 points and 5.4 rebounds while shooting 37 percent from the floor.
