The Curry household has a case of the flu. Because if one family member is sick, odds are the rest will come down with it soon enough. With Golden State in the midst of a weeklong break between preseason games, the two-time NBA MVP's absences were no major setback. Curry started feeling sick Thursday, before he recorded 13 points, five assists and four steals in Golden State's 105-96 win over Sacramento in San Jose. A ball-dominant player who excels at reading teammates and finding his spots on the floor, he requires time to settle into a groove. Last year, before beginning a campaign in which he became the NBA's first unanimous MVP, Curry eclipsed the 20-point mark in only two of six preseason games. Sharing the floor with a four-time NBA scoring champion, Curry hasn't attempted more than eight shots in a preseason game. Social media was abuzz Tuesday morning about Durant's comments the previous night in which he admitted that Game 7 of the Finals piqued his interest in the Warriors, and he called signing with Golden State "an easy choice."
