Warriors’ Draymond Green out vs. Clippers with shoulder injury
LOS ANGELES — Warriors power forward Draymond Green will miss Thursday night's game against the Clippers with a left shoulder contusion, further thinning an already shallow frontcourt. News of Green's injury comes a day after Golden State announced that center Zaza Pachulia would be out a week with a right rotator cuff strain. David West — Pachulia's primary backup when both are healthy — underwent an X-ray on his fractured left thumb Wednesday and is "making good progress," per the Warriors. Green, 26, appeared to hurt his shoulder while colliding with Spencer Hawes on a rebound attempt in the first half of Wednesday's rout of the Hornets. Green leads the Warriors in assists (7.4) and steals (1.9), is tied for first in rebounding (8.4), ranks second in blocks (1.5) and fourth in scoring (10.4 points per game).
