Warriors survive Conference finals opener as Spurs lose Leonard
The Golden Warriors survived a 20-point half-time deficit to topple the San Antonio Spurs 113-111 in game one of the Western Conference finals thanks to a controversial play in the third quarter. San Antonio were cruising, much like they had at the end of the Houston Rockets series, before Warriors centre Zaza Pachulia put his foot under Kawhi Leonard's left ankle on Sunday. NBA MVP candidate Leonard came down straight on Pachulia and hobbled to the locker room.
