Warriors’ pregame warmups delayed because of hockey game
PHILADELPHIA — NBA players are creatures of habit: same game-day nap time, same pregame meal, same warmup routine. The Warriors and 76ers were forced to adjust before Saturday night's matchup at Wells Fargo Center, however, after an NHL game between the Philadelphia Flyers and Calgary Flames went to a shootout. The arena crew didn't finish converting the floor from a hockey rink to a basketball court until 6:10 p.m. ET, 25 minutes after Golden State and the 76ers were scheduled to begin pregame warmups. "You just figure it out," Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said. "It's not a big deal. You just go out, get some shots up and get ready to play.
