NEW ORLEANS — The lasting image from the Warriors' 125-115 win Monday night over the Pelicans — Stephen Curry grimacing, his right ankle badly rolled — came with the outcome not in doubt. With around a minute left, Curry lunged for a steal, missed and tried to stop himself from falling. His foot turned awkwardly, sending him tumbling. Curry climbed to his feet and limped toward the visitors' locker room with a team trainer. About a half-hour later, the team announced that X-rays came back negative and Curry had a sprained right ankle. The two-time NBA MVP will undergo an MRI exam Tuesday.
