PHOENIX — In the 29 months since he went undrafted out of Duke, Quinn Cook has been waived four times and signed three 10-day contracts. All along, as NBA front offices questioned whether he belonged at the sport's highest level, he told himself that he only needed an opportunity. In the wake of the Warriors' sudden rash of injuries, Cook is finally getting that chance. Anyone who saw his 28-point masterpiece in Saturday night's 124-109 win over the Suns at Talking Stick Resort Arena probably isn't questioning whether he deserves to be in this league. To score a career-high, he needed only 17 shots.
