Less than 90 minutes before the start of media day Monday morning, the Warriors announced a number of promotions and additions to the team's basketball operations department. Most notably, Bruce Fraser and Chris DeMarco have been promoted from player-development coach to assistant coach. DeMarco has also added the title of "Director of Player Development." Fraser built a reputation as Stephen Curry's personal shooting guru in his four years as a player-development coach. DeMarco, who led Golden State's summer-league team in 2017, is highly regarded for his ability to relate to players. Over the past three seasons, DeMarco has worked closely with Klay Thompson and Kevon Looney.
